ClearCorrect Aligner

ClearCorrect are aligners easy-to-use, transparent, removable, comfortable, used typically to treat minor to medium malocclusion. This company has existed for 12 years and has experience of hundreds of thousands of patient treatments (Owner: Straumann Group).

We offer a consultation with a fee where you subsequently get a free digital setup. This gives you the opportunity to see what the treatment can do for you with both before and after picture.

If you like the outcome, you accept the treatment (consent, imprint, X-ray, photos, aligners, etc.) and your aligners will be made for you. Each aligner will move your teeth a little bit so that you finally get the smile the digital setup has shown. Straight teeth look good, work better, can be easier to clean and thus have fewer cavities.

How Clear Aligners Work?

Directions for use

  • Rinse new aligners with cold water prior to using them
  • The aligners must be kept in a storage case (when not in the mouth)
  • At the end of treatment, retainer wear os highly recommended

Daily care and maintenance of ClearCorrect aligners:

  • Aligners should be cleaned prior to each insertion using a soft bristle toothbrush with water and a small amount of toothpaste. Be sure that each aligner is rinsed thoroughly with water after each cleaning.
  • Do not use dentures cleaners to clean aligners. Do not soak them in mouthwash. These products can damage the surface of the aligner, causing it to become dull and more visible.

Proper oral hygiene:

  • Aligners should be removed for eating and drinking (you do not need to remove aligners to drink cool water)
  • You should brush and floss your teeth after each meal or snack prior to re-inserting the aligners. If you don’t have access to  a toothbrush, you can simply rinse the mouth, and then clean the aligners by holding them under warm running water. It is not the best way to clean, but it works in a pinch.
  • Regular dental checkups and cleaning are recommended for the continued health of gum and teeth.

When the treatment is finished

The teeth are held in place by a metal retention wire on the back of the front teeth or by a removable plastic aligner.
